SUPPLEMENTAL
The unknown Kay is likely to be William Kay, the son of James & Emily Kay. He was born about 1857. He would have been approximately 12 years of age in 1870. The reasoning for this belief is because William is listed in the 1860 U.S. Census record, but not in the 1870 Census record, and his interment is not recorded in either the Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church cemetery or Greenwood. He is the only Kay left that is a candidate for the unknown Kay interment in either cemetery. (supplemental bio info provided by Steve Kay via Sue McDuffe; edited by Mike Foster)
