On August 20, 1904, the remains of someone named Kay were moved from the graveyard of the Sharpsburg Presbyterian graveyard. No information was given about this person. The tombstone appears to be badly damaged and no inscription is visible at all. The location of this stone suggests that it should be one for the person identified in the interments as "Kay". The reasoning for this belief is because William is listed in the 1860 U.S. Census record, but not in the 1870 Census record, and his interment is not recorded in either the Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church cemetery or Greenwood.
