G.A.R. Funeral
Isaac McCoy, a veteran of Stanton Post, G.A. R. was buried with military honor from Vincent Church yesterday afternoon. Rev. Geo. A. Hough conducted the service. Stanton Post Fife and Drum Corps with 100 comrades were in attendance. Chaplain Liscomb, U.S.A., read the impressive soldier burial service at the grave, and while taps were sounded, each comrade placed a sprig of cypress on the casket of the man he loved. Mr. McCoy was a singing evangelist and has won a warm place in the hearts of the veterans of the G.A.R. Interment was at Rosedale Cemetery.
