ANDREW J. MAGEE, FORMER BRADFORD RESIDENT, IS DEAD
Andrew Jackson Magee, 34, former resident of Bradford, died Saturday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Paul Watson, Kingwood, W. VA.
Mr. Magee was born at Cairo, W. Va., Feb. 19, 1916, and attended schools at Charleston, W. Va. He was a graduate of Spencer High School, Spencer, W. Va., Tennessee Military Institute, Sweetwater, Tenn., and Mt. State Business College, Parkersburg, W. Va.
He entered the Army Jan. 10, 1940, and was a staff sergeant at the time of his discharge, Nov. 6, 1945. He was married Dec. 19, 1942.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bradford, the American Legion and the Am Vets of Great Falls, Mont. He was employed as office manager at the Grogan-Robison Lumber Company, Great Falls, Mont.
Mr. Magee is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Magee; two sons, Robert and Thomas Magee, all of Great Falls; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Magee, 172 Jackson Ave., Bradford; two brothers, Roland Magee, Bradford RD 3, and Stewart Magee, Dunbar, W. Va.; a sister, Isabelle Watson, Kingswood.
Funeral services will be held from the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel at a time to be announced later. Kock-Chatley's is in charge of arrangements. The courtesy of no flowers is requested.
