Services for Mrs. Alice Johnson, 82, of 432 S. Santa Fe Ave, were Sunday at Weber funeral home
Burial was in Chillicothe City cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, Dec. 30 in a Peoria Hospital
She was born March 4, 1889 in Wyoming, Ill., a daughter of Peter U. and Dianna A. (Moats) Sheets.
Surviving are four sons, Marshall Brown of Brimfield, Clem Brown of Rochester, N.Y., Charles Griswold of Dowagrac, Mich, and George Griswold of Concord, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Lucille) Dawson of Sparland and Mrs. Margaret Towles of Peoria; two sisters, Viola Dixon of Quincy, Sue Cox of Spokane, Wash., 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chillicothe and the Chillicothe American Legion auxiliary and was a Gold Star Mother.
