James Rose, formerly at Bascom, died at his jome in Tippecanoe, Ohio early Saturday morning, the cause of his death being blood poisoning. The deceased was 40 years of age, and is survived by a wife and one child. He was a barber by occupation and formerly worked in Bascom. His body arrived in Bascom this afternoon over the B & O railroad. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church Monday under the auspices of the Masonic lodge of this city: interment in the Bascom cemetery.
