Son of Henry Clay Shupe/Shoop and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Amanda "Manda" Stone. Charles was brother to Mr. Worley Shupe/Shoop, Mr. Benjamin J "Hoge" Shupe/Shoop, Ida B Shupe/Shoop, Mr. H B Shupe/Shoop, Laura "Laurie" Shupe/Shoop, , and Pearl Shupe/Shoop Quillen Howell.

Charles married Beatrice Willie May Hodges on 25 Dec 1910 in Wise County, Virginia (Marriage License No. 100000360). Together Charles and Beatrice had 8 children as follows: Syble Mae Shoop, Bessie Shoop, Ruth Shoop, Mr. Ralph C Shoop, Ida Shoop, Mr. Robert L Shoop, Beatrice Edna Shoop, and Mr. Ted Carson Shoop.

This is either my cousin or my great grandfather. It is unclear which at this time. A paternal DNA test would help me answer this question.
