Mrs. Arthur, wife of the late Clayton Walker Arthur, was a lifelong resident of Macon and the daughter of the late Carl B. Durden and Marie Durden Badman. She was a secretary retired from State Farm Insurance. Mrs. Arthur was a member of Highland Hills Baptist where she was also a member of the Friendship Sunday School. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Clayton M. "Mike" Arthur (Frankie) of Gray; her grandchildren, Lisa Kelly (Chris) of Gray and Kevin Arthur (Amy) of Dudley; her great grandchildren, Ashley Arthur, Courtney Arthur, Christol (Troy) Clymer, Rebecca (Brandon) Upshaw; her great-great grandchildren, Natalie Clymer, Davis Upshaw; her brother, Lloyd Badman (Ernestine) of Manchester, TN and several nieces and nephews.
