Geneva (also know as Gene in adulthood) was the second child born to Ed and Maud Bostick.

She was born in Texas and moved to Arizona when she was 18 months old. The family then moved to Bend, Oregon when she was 7 years old. She moved back to Texas when she was 13 years old.

Geneva was best friends with her older sister Juanita. They were just a year apart during high school. Geneva was a very brilliant student. Learning came natural to her.

She married Donald Ray McComas on May 13, 1952. They had three children. Due to his military commitment they lived in many US states as well as Germany and England. By 1962 the couple had divorced.

She had a hard life but she loved her children and grandchildren. She moved to Houston in the 1970's to be near her oldest daughter.
