For two seasons, he was a utility player for the Cleveland Indians (1919-20) and was a member of the Cleveland Indians World Series Championship in 1934. He concluded his career with a record of 29 hits, 8 runs scored, 9 runs batted in, a .196 batting average and a .957 fielding percentage. He died at age 72 in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri.
