| Birth: | Aug. 27, 1871 | | Death: | Jan. 19, 1948 |  A charismatic spiritual leader, Deguchi predicted the Russo-Japanese War (1905), the Great Kanto Earthquake (1923), the Sino-Japanese War (1937), the Pacific War (1941), the dropping of atomic weapons and the defeat of Japan. He also predicted that by the end of the century, humanity will face major crises. Deguchi predicted that the world will be covered by fiery rain and people will be divided into 12 races.
