Morgan Lewis Martin
Birth: Mar. 31, 1805
Death: Dec. 10, 1887

US Congressman. Elected to represent Wisconsin as a Territorial Delegate to the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1845 to 1847. Served during the Civil War in the Union Army as a Major and Paymaster from 1861 to 1865. He was a cousin of Wisconsin Congressman and Utah Territorial Governor James Duane Doty. (bio by: Russ Dodge)
