Mr. Stewart was a guest actor on many various television shows including "The Smother Brother's Comedy Hour" to "Baywatch" with several series roles including stints as "Henry Jefferson" in "All in the Family" and the "Scarecrow & Mrs. King" 's Billy Melrose. Along the way he could be found in the junkyard of "Sanford and Son", with our favorite capped crusader in "Greatest American Hero", sailing aboard the "Love Boat" and hanging with the gals in Miami in "Golden Girls". He was also a director on the "Get Christy Love" series in the early 70's. When not acting, he was teaching acting classes at San Francisco State University and was a saxophonist who played with several jazz greats. He was married and had one child before his death due to complications of Alzheimer's disease. (bio by: Stacy Thompson)
