Humorist, Writer, Journalist. He used his experiences growing up in a large Jewish immigrant family in Brooklyn, New York and his years as a teacher for what he considered folk humor. He wrote many books including "In One Era And Out The Other" (1973). He was a panelist on many television programs from the 1950 to the 1960s and also had his own show, "The Sam Levenson Show."
