Appeared in "The People Aganist O'Hara" (1951), "The Lemon Drop Kid" (1951), "Abbott and Costello Go to Mars" (1953), "War of the Worlds" (1953), nominated for an Academy Award for his role in "The Apartment" (1960), "The Ladies' Man" (1961), "Follow that Dream" (1962) co-starring Elvis Presley, and "Cape Fear" (1962). Died of natural causes at the age of 80.
