"Jewell Marie Jackson, age 83, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away at Heartland East Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri, on Friday, September 20, 2002. She was born on January 11, 1919, the daughter of James and Melinda (Crum) Ragan in Vienna, Missouri. On January 17, 1964, in Hamilton, Missouri, she married Raymond Jackson. He survives of the home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, Missouri. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxillary and the United Methodist Women (UMW).

Survivors also include one son, Jim Bothwell of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Barbara Conner of St. Joseph, Missouri and Carol Herrick of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Emily Jean Dominique of Ludlow, Missouri; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Peggy Ann Bothwell. and one brother, Wayne Ragan"
