Obituary of Frank Ray Cook: Funeral Held Tuesday for Late Contractor Frank R. Cook, 71
Funeral services for Frank Ray Cook, 71, of 68 Holten Street, who died last Saturday morning at Hunt Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Street. The rites were administered by Rev. J. Robert Zimmerman, rector of Calvary Episcopal Church. There were numerous floral tributes. Son of the late David B. and Mary E. A. (Latham) Cook, he was born on Nov. 20, 1888, and was a member of Danvers Post 2359, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War I and was self-employed as a painting contractor. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Marie E. Taylor, Pineville; Penn, a brother, Alfred A. Cook, Danvers; two sisters, Beatrice L. Cook and Alice M. Cook, both of Danvers; also three grandchildren, two nephews, and a niece. Interment was in Holten Cemetery, Danvers, where commital services were administered by Rev. Mr. Zimmerman.

Frank Cook served in WWI and WWII. He died of nephrosclerosis/arteriosclerosis, heart disease that hardens the blood vessels and kidneys.
