Alice Dreamer resided at the home where she and her husband had lived. Robert had preceded her in death 20 years earlier in 1938. In the early 1900's they had resided in Carthage, Missouri and most likely had moved to Joplin soon after the tragic death of his daughter (and Alice's Step-daughter) Della. She had accidentally drowned in Spring River not far from their home on North Main Street in Carthage.

In Memory of Della
"You could never experience any physical pain that could hurt so deep & so bad as that of losing a child. Time may go by & people may think you have healed but the truth is no matter how much time has gone by your arms will still ache, you will always grieve and your heart will always be broken because you had to tell your child goodbye." ~Amber Roseberry
