MRS. MARTHA CARROLL
The funeral of Mrs. Martha Carroll, widow of the late W.J. Carroll, who died Saturday night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. Ed Green, 1015 North Cedar street was held Sunday afternoon at the Green residence, services being conducted by the Rev. W. J. E. Cox. The body was then taken via the Cotton Belt to Camden, where the interment took place. Services there were conducted by the Rev. W.M. Wright.
Pallbearers at Camden were George P. Darby, B.C. Wallace, J.J. Harrison, E.M. Oudin, O.N. Gatlin, S.B. Lide, M.P. Watts, O.L. Lide, H.B. Lide, Thomas Morton and George Chidester.
Mrs. Carroll had made her home here with Mr. and Mrs. Green since 1912. She was a native of Georgia and was 63 years of age, having resided in Arkansas for 29 years. The family first located at Conway but later removed to Camden and resided there when Mr. Carroll died at Rosenthal 11 years ago.
Two years ago Mrs. Carroll was stricken with paralysis and recently she suffered another stroke.
Beside Mrs. Green another daughter, Mrs. J. Pat Pope of Ver___ Tex. survives. Mr. and Mrs. Green and their children and Mrs. Pope and her children accompanied the body to Camden.
