He was head of security for Morgan, Stanley, Dean/Witter, whose offices were on the 44th floor of the World Trade Center in New York. On September 11, he was being interviewed for a recording called "Voice of A Prophet" (2002). He died that day when the terrorists attacked. He was credited with helping save 2,400 lives. He had also served in three wars and was a retired army colonel. He was awarded both the bronze and silver star during his tour of duty in Vietnam.
