Gustave Larson Dies on Sunday
Local Carpenter 64 Years of Age
Gustave Larson, a Marinette carpenter, died Sunday morning at Marinette General Hospital at the age of 64 years. Death followed a short illness.
The Rev. Axel G Pearson officiated at 1pm rites today in the McLain-Thielen-Langer funeral home. Burial was in Forest Homes Cemetery.
Mr. Larson, who resided at 2113 1/2 Serman St., was born Jan 26, 1895 at Wiemewoc, Sweden. He spent most of his life in the carpenter trade.
Surviving are his wife, the former Katherine Frenzel, whom he married in 1947: seven sons and nine daughters.
The children are Glenn Robert, Karen, Carey, Joanne and Linda, at the home: Robert, Ben, Roy and Herbert Larson, Mrs. William Thayer, Mrs. Robert Youngquist, Mrs. Joseph Werner and Mrs. Charles Graham, all of Milwaukee, Richard and Mrs. Virgil Kaempf of Marinette and Harry of Bristol, PA. Twenty-eight grandchildren also survive.

Gustav's obituary says he was buried in Forest Home Cemetery but the Death record information indicates he was buried in Woodlawn Cemtery (Potters Field). Just got off the phone with Forest Home (who also handles Woodlawn's records) and he is indeed buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Catholic section. Section: WN-CATH2 Location: Row 2 grave #9
