Mr. Scott was a factory employee for Emerson Electric and Lear-Siegler. He was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Martin. Mr. Scott was a native of Weakley County and the son of the late James Leslie and Ulla Bradberry Scott.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Darden Scott of Dresden; two daughters, Brenda Tackitt of Dresden, and Beverly Lewis of Dresden; eight sons, Ronnie Scott of Dresden, Larry Scott of Gleason, Terry Scott of Gleason, Darrell Scott of Como, David Scott of Dresden, Barry Scott of South Fulton, Keith Scott of Gleason, and Steve Scott of Gleason; a sister, Virginia Taylor of Dresden; nineteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
