AUDLEY T ATKIN 'Plank'-94: died Wednesday[9-18]-Wesbury United Methodist Community. He was born 10 Oct 1907 in Painesville OH, a son of DonT & Lena Gehr Atkin. He worked for the Pennsylvania Dept of Employment Securi-ty, retiring in 1972 after 25 years. He formerly worked as personnel director for KeystoneOrd-nance Works in Geneva & broadcast an emp-loyment program for Meadville's radio station. He graduated from Linesville High School & attended Allegheny College. He also spent winters in Lantana FL. He was a member of Harmonsburg United Methodist Church & Masonic lodges in Linesville & Lantana. He enjoyed traveling, golf, bowling, billiards, horseshoes & word & card games. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fannie Oswald Atkin; his stepfather, Henry Waring; a sister, Lillian Atkin & a grandson-Craig Cummings.

FANNIE E ATKIN--56: died Friday [2-02] at Meadville City Hosp, she had been in failing health for several years. She was born 10 Sep 1916 at Kent OH, dau of Lynn & Inez McGuire Oswald. MrsAtkin's husband-Audley T, retired last year as Pennslvania State Employment Service supervisor in Meadvl. MrsAtkin was a member of Linesvl Unitarian UniversalistChurch & a former member of Sweet Adelines.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daus: Lillian (sp-Robert) Evans-Linesville; Constance (sp-Jack) Cummings-Saegertown & 6 grand-children. Her parents & a bro: RobertL Oswald preceded her in death.
Service will be conducted Monday afternoon [2-05] at Thurman M Houghton Funeral Home-Linesville with Thomas CollinsJr-lay minister at Linesville Unitatian Universalist Church & the RevLee Parker-pastor of Edinboro United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Linesville Cem.
