He worked as a machinist for Zurn Industries, retiring in 1995 after 35 years. He attended First Assembly of God and enjoyed sports, especially golf and bowling.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aqualina Bussard, in 1977; a sister, Mary Jane Heitzenrater; and a brother, Frank Bussard.
Survivors include his wife, Lenora Niemeyer Bussard; a son, Lynn Peeples and his wife, Kathy, of Buttzville, N.J.; a daughter, Pam Anderson and her husband, Bob, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a son, Todd Bussard of North East; three brothers, Don Bussard and his wife, Donna, of Erie, Walter Bussard and his wife, Grace, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Bob Bussard and his wife, Pat, of Saegertown; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
