Funeral services for Harvey Bismark Chandler, 72, of 423 1/2 24th Ave. W., founder of the Chandler Transfer Co., will be at noon tomorrow in the Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lake View under the direction of the Angelus Funeral Home.
Mr. Chandler died Wednesday at his home. Born in here more than 50 years ago. He also operated the Chandler Fuel Co. and owned the Chandler Apartments.
Mr. Chandler was a former treasurer and a deacon of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a member of Harmony Lodge, F.&A.M. He was active in civic groups.
Surviving are a son, Ernest Chandler, Seattle; a brother, Edward Chandler, Dresden; and two great-grandchildren.
