Mr. Darrell B. Gallimore, age 72 of Greenbrier Drive, Denton, NC died Sunday, December 28 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 31 at Denton Wesleyan Church conducted by Rev. Charlie Collins and Rev. Charles Moses. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Gallimore was born October 3, 1936 in Davidson County to Carl Gallimore and Ocia Nance Gallimore. He was the retired owner/operator of Denton Carpet Center and later owned and operated Bradley Auto Sales. He attended Denton Wesleyan Church and was a former member of Denton Lions Club. He was preceded in death by a son Darren Gallimore on December 12, 1993 and by a brother Thomas Gallimore.

He is survived by his wife, Voncille Cranford Gallimore of the home, by daughters, Lynn G. Buie and husband C. L.; Lisa G. Smith and husband Dale all of Denton; Daughter-In-Law, Lisa Galllimore Grubb of Denton, Grandchildren Brad Gallimore and wife, Christy, Cody Smith, Chase Smith, Dylan Gallimore and Addie Grubb; Great Grandchildren, Brayden, and Blake Gallimore. Also surviving are Sisters, May Nell Leonard of Thomasville and Peggy Holt of Asheboro.

The family will see friends from 12:30 to 2:30 PM Wednesday at Denton Wesleyan Church and other times at the residence.
