Mrs. James M. Gibbon died at the family residence, 1021 Monona street on Saturday morning at 5 o'clock after a long illness. Besides a kind and loving husband eight children survive as follows: Mrs. Allie Foes, Mrs. Grace Emmerson, Misses Daisy and Carrie, Ernest, Lewis and George Gibbons, all of Boone and Mrs. Mary Ahlaren of Minneapolis, Minn. Besides these are her mother, Mrs. Mary Tumbleson and sisters, Mrs. Henry Knight of Mackey, Mrs. Clara Sayles of Woodward Iowa, and Mrs. Nellie Johnson of Greene county Iowa. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the First M.E. church, Rev. J.B. Harris officiating, and the remains interred in the cemetery at Ridgeport.
