He was born the son of Thomas & Mary Godsil. He was a member of St. Monica R.C. Church. He owned Kalamazoo Supply Co. & belonged to Kalamazoo Home Builders Association of which he was past Secretary & Treasurer. His wife, Helen, preceded him in death in Oct. of 1968. Surviving are (1) daughter, Mrs. Robert(Pam) Dykema of Kalamazoo, Mi.; (2) sons, Gary B. Of Vicksburg & Gregg T. of Portage; (6) grandchildren; (3) sisters, Mrs. Shelton (Helen) Dougherty of Ontario, Calif., Sister Helen JoAnn of Van Nuya, Calif. & Mrs Walter (Ann) Wade of Long Beach, California, several Nieces and Nephews. Rosary was in Truesdale South Chapel; Portage. Funeral mass at St. Monica R.C. Church.
