Lucas N. Hester was the last son (16th. child) of William "Buck" and Amy Malone Hester.
In 1860 census Lucus was 25 and Martha was 20 year old.
In 1870 census Martha was living with her mother, Sarah Elledge. She had 3 children; Amos, 10, Hudson "Hut", 7 , and Lucy J. 6 year old.
In 1880 Martha was 40 year old,
In 1900 census she was living with her daughter, Lucy J. and Dewitt Clinton Kimrough. Lucy died in 1902.
Possibility that Lucas N. died in the Civil War, or must have died before 1870. Lucy J. was born in 1864, no other children records after 1864.
