OBITUARY FOR MARTHA "JANE" MILLER Services for Martha "Jane" (Crawford) Miller, 87, will be Monday, April 4, at 10 a.m. in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Dr. Mike Shaw from First Baptist Church of Sapulpa officiating. Interment will be in the South Heights Cemetery. The daughter of William Ferman Crawford and Martha Mahilia Wallace Crawford, Jane was born on January 28, 1924 in Sapulpa and passed from this life on April 1, 2011 while a resident of Northside Nursing Facility in Sapulpa. A 1942 graduate of Sapulpa High School, Jane had been a life-long resident of Sapulpa. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Following high school, she worked at McDonald-Douglas in Tulsa. She later worked alongside her husband, Cecil, at Bartlett-Collins Glass Company and at the Sapulpa Bus Station. Jane was also a lifetime member of Sapulpa's First Baptist Church. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil. She had four sisters, Marian, Mildred (Midge), Marguerite, and Marcella (Sally), and three brothers, Wallace, Joe, and Bill. She married her sweetheart, Cecil Miller, on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1947 in Sapulpa and they remained married for 63 wonderful years. Jane and Cecil had two children, Joseph Douglas Miller and Vicki Joan Miller Crowley. Joe lives in Sapulpa with his wife, Yvonne. Vicki lives in Bethany, OK with her husband, Michael. Jane had three grandchildren: Patrick Lee Miller and wife Amber, who live in Tulsa, Noelle Dawn Miller Coltrane and her husband, Alan, who live in Kansas City, Missouri, and John David Crowley and wife Stacey, who live in Hollywood, California. Jane has one great-granddaughter, Ashley Paige Crowley. Jane was an experienced seamstress and loved to make clothing for her family and friends. She also enjoyed making quilts for her family, reading and playing with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
