My handsome daddy's journey here on earth came to end on March 26, 2011. Daddy had battled a myriad of health issues during the past 30+ years. In the end, his kidneys couldn't take any more and shut down.

When daddy went into assisted living, he decided to come to Mecklenburg County, NC but as the final hours were approaching, we had him transferred to Hospice in Cleveland County, NC. Cleveland County would be his final resting place and where he had spent over half his life.

Daddy is survived by me, his daughter, mom, one brother, Johnnyson Jones, Sr., three sisters-in-law, Thelma Jones, Frances Grier, and Lucille Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In death, he will be reunited with his parents, Rev. Harry Claudius and Iola Everett Jones; his brothers, Thomas Langston, Claudius, Toussaint, and Coan Sill; and his sisters, Martha and Emanuline.

Rest in Peace daddy. Your physical suffering has ended. Mom and I will always miss you and you will always be with us. You will always be my first love.

Love,

YOUR DAUGHTER
