Wife Of S.C. Morrell
Mrs. Virginia F. Morrell, 83, died on Wednesday, Decemeber 28, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. R. Argabright, where she was visiting in Deepwater, Mo., from a brief illness of pneumonia.
The body arrived here on Southern train No. 26, at noon Saturday. The funeral, conducted by Rev. A. M. Laughren, was held at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church at Fairview, followed by interment at the cemetery near the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Saylor of Jonesboro, and Mrs. W. R. Argabright, of Deepwater, Mo., two sons, D. C. Morrell of Jonesboro, and Roy E. Morrell of Akron, Ohio, and by several grandchildren.
Mrs. Morrell had for some time been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Saylor and went recently to visit her daughter, Mrs. Argabright, in Mo. She was a member of the Brethren church at New Hope.
