Flora was born September 19, 1919, in Iona, Idaho to John Ivan Stosich and Flora Thekla Weidhaase Stosich. She attended schools in Iona and continued her education at Ricks College and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. On March 15, 1944, she married Wayne Howard Johnson in the Salt Lake City LDS Tenple. They were blessed with three children (LaRae, Robert & Howard). She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held many callings in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary. She sang for many years in the ward choir. Flora was a dedicated Visiting Teacher. One of her most cherished experiences was when she and her husband served a mission to the Mississippi Jackson mission from 1991 to 1992. She attended the temple weekly for many years with dear friends whom she loved to spend time with. Flora was a mother and homemaker. She taught school for 28 years at Iona Elementary. She enjoyed working outdoors, baking bread, writing letters, teaching, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was an outgoing people-person and a friend to everyone. Flora had a way of making everyone feel special. She passed away May 14, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from causes incident to age.
