This is my cousin. I am so glad I got to see her in October of last year. She was always so good to me and my family, and I loved her so much. I will miss her a lot.

Betty Lou Dennis, 77, of Sour Lake died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. She was born September 9, 1933, in Port Arthur to John and Bessie (Adaway) Roach, Jr. A forty-five year resident of Sour Lake, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, William R. Dennis, Vincent E. Dennis and his wife Phyllis, Douglas L. Dennis, Howard C. Dennis, Winona Thames and her husband Paul, and Carl Dexter Dennis and his wife Lisa; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her home in Sour Lake. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard's in Kountze.
