He was born Oct. 11, 1953, at Idaho Falls, to Thorland Price Summers and Bonnie Lue Johnson Summers.

He attended schools in Dodge City, Kan., where he graduated from high school.

He then attended Dodge City Community College.

He married Patty Hall and they were later divorced.

He worked for Ammco Oil, Incorporated, as a division manager.

He enjoyed dry farming.

He was an avid skier and weight lifter.

He was a wonderful father.

Survivors include his daughter, Angelie Summers of Ririe, Idaho; three sons, Jason Summers of Dodge City, Kan., and Trevor Price Summers and Chase Ryder Summers, both of Ririe; his mother, Bonnie Lue Summers of Ririe; three sisters, Kay Volkema of Denver, Colo., Kristy Ann Summers of Boise, Idaho, and Kelly El Jackson of Ririe; and a brother, Thayne Champion of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p. m. Saturday, Jan. 16, in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
