Born Jun 6, 1896 at Bentonville, Ark. Farmed in his early years and later worked as a Beatrice Public Schools custodian.

Survivors: wife, Charlotte, sons, George of South Sioux City, Gerald of Hutchinson, Kan, Harold of Encinitas, Calif, and Melvin of Vienna, VA; daughter Mrs. Robert (Nadia) Knudson of Denver, Color; 14 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral: 8 PM Monday, Harman Mortuary Chapel, Pastor Lyle Sass, Burial Wednesday at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver Colo.
