    Emma's husbands were half-brothers. They had the same mother. Both her husbands born in Savanna, Carroll Co., IL. Charles C. Adams born to George Adams & Siba Loucks, and Joseph Alton Weible born to George Weible & Siba Loucks.
    She married Charles C. Adams Sep 23, 1908 in Hiawatha, KS. (Adams was born Jan 12, 1877, died March 1950, Fort Morgan, Morgan Co., CO.)


PUBLICATION NOTICE — In the District Court of Brown County, Kansas, Emma L. Adams, Plaintiff, vs. Charles Adams, Defendant. The above named defendant, Charles Adams, will hereby take notice that he has been sued by the above named plaintiff, Emma L. Adams, in the District Court of Brown County, Kansas, and unless he answer the petition of the said plaintiff filed in said cause on or before the 18th day of January, 1925, said petition will be taken as true and judgment rendered accordingly. The nature of said judgement will be forever divorcing the said plaintiff from the said defendant on the grounds of abandon-ment for one year and more and on the grounds of gross neglect of duty, and awarding the care and custody of the two minor children, Raymond Adams and Arthur Adams, to said plaintiff and barring and enjoining said defendant from inheriting by, through or from said plaintiff.—Emma L. She married Joseph Weible Aug 10, 1926 in Hiawatha, Ks. He is buried alongside Emma in the Hiawatha Cemetery.

                         DEATHS
Weible—
Mrs. Emma Weible, 75, died at her home, six miles north and 1½ miles east of Hiawatha, about 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 1958. Mr. Mrs. Weible had been shopping in Hiawatha and as Mrs. Weible stepped from the car at her home on their return, she collapsed and died following a heart attack. She is survived by her husband, J. A. Weible, of the home, two sons, Raymond Adams of Jefferson City, Mo., Arthur Adams of Omaha; one granddaughter, Sandra Kay Adams of Pueblo, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. W. W. Justice of Hiawatha; two brothers, John Walters and Dave Walters, both of Hiawatha. Funeral services will be held at Meek's chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, January 3, by the Rev. Clifton Gunnels with interment at the Hiawatha cemetery.
