Debra was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah and attended churches in Oakland, Lyons and West Point. She was employed part-time at the Highway Café in Lyons until she retired in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sister, Cheryl Christensen and her husband, Dr. Doug Christensen of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother, Bruce Ellis and his wife, Judy of Alto, New Mexico; nieces and nephews, Matt Robinson-Christensen of Lincoln, Anne Christensen of Omaha, Mike Ellis of Portland, Oregon, Heather (Ellis) McErlane of Tekamah, Bill Ellis of Tekamah; special friend, Mike Barger of Lyons.
