This memorial is dedicated to my second greatt Aunt Lydia.
She was the daughter of Eleven Leaven Oliver and his second wife Nancy Boren Dyer Clark. This was her third marriage.
Lydia had two brothers William R, Robert E and an adopted sister (my great grandmother Lucinda Lenore)
Aunt Lydia married Thomas L. Byard on December 29, 1897 in Lyon County, Kentucky.
On the death of her sister Lucinda (my great grandmother) Lydia and Thomas took in the infant son (Wallace) of Lucinda and Henry Oliver and raised him as their own. That is how my great uncle became part of the Byard family.

Last rites for Mrs. Lydia Mae Byard, 78, wife of T. L. Byard, 315 Baldwin Avenue, were held Friday at 2 pm at the Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Nelson,officiating assisted by Rev. J. J. Gould. Burial ocurred in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by D. E. Rogers.
Death claim Mrs. Byard in her home at Princeton, Wednesday October 9, at 2:30 pm. Besides the husband there survives two sons,Wallace Byard of Princeton and George Byard of Lyon County, a brother Bob Oliver, Princeton, seven grandhcildren and two great grandchildren. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
Pall bears were Bob Williams, Allen Oliver, Eurie Oliver, Cordis Teear, Cleatus Corley, and Otho Oliver.
