Allen Bennett
Allen L. Bennett, 74, 214 N. Rogers, Bloomington, died Saturday at 9:55 a.m. at his residence.
Born August 20, 1904 in Monroe County, he was the son of Otha (Jack) and Ella (Lanam) Bennett.
He was a member of the West Second Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Muriel (Pennington) Bennett; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Mildred) Borsenberger, Bloomington, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Hanson, Indianapolis, Mrs. Byron (Ruth) Beaman, Ellettsville; one brother, Edwin Bennett, Bloomington.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Day Mortuary. The Rev. Gary Fiscus will officiate. Burial will follow in the Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Monday from 2:30-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
