Bart grew to over nine feet tall and weighed over 1,500 pounds in his prime. Because of his impressive size and good-natured demeanor, Bart was in huge demand in the film industry. He starred in two dozen feature films and television episodes, including "The Bear", "The Great Outdoors", "White Fang", and "Legends of the Fall". In 1990, Bart became a global ambassador for wild grizzlies when the Seus's launched The Vital Ground Foundation to save bear habitat around the world.
