On December 18, 1934, Sarah married Reuben H. Kitzman in Greeley, Colorado. They later moved to Brighton. While in Brighton, Sarah worked as a Welcome Wagon Greeter, as a retail clerk for Lange Dry Goods in Ft. Lupton, in the cafeterias of Vikan and North Jr. High and in the catering business with Verna Heitschmidt.
Sarah loved her family and excelled in her hobbies, including crocheting and other craft work and cooking.
Sarah is survived by daughters Liz (Jerry) Hamilton of Sun City West, Arizona and Wilma Kitzman of Seattle, Washington; sons Stann (Janet) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lee (Laura) of Philomath, Oregon, and Rick of Denver, Colorado; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, 8 brothers and 4 sisters.
