From the Church of Christ, Burleson, Texas, church newspaper:

Sunday we spoke of "standng on the shoulders" of those who have gone before us. One of our couples who have been long-time, active and involved members are Gaino and Dottie Talkington. Gaino celebrated his 90th birthday in January and he and Dottie would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in July. We regret that Gaino passed away on Tuesday morning; what a great Christian man he was! For years he served this church as deacon with building maintenance and always had a smile on his face, something good and encouraging to say, and would do anything he could to bless and help others. We have been blessed by his life and we will miss him.
