The Rev. J.C. Ramey, 92, 235 South Thirteenth St., died Tuesday night at the Faulkner Nursing Home in Muncie where he had been a patient for the last month. He lived in Richmond for 44 years and was the associate minister at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. This past year, he retired from the ministry. Survivors include the widow Pearl; one son, Leland of Richmond; one daughter, Mrs. Jenerose Hampton of Richmond; ten grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. R.E. Girten officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Portland, Ind. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Patterson Funeral Home.
