Isabelle McFarland Bissell
Leverett and Isabelle McFarland Bissell moved to Pennsylvania from Western Ohio and purchased a land grant from the government of five hundred acres in Mercer County about a mile south of Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania. They had five sons and he gave each son a one hundred acre plot.
John, never married, his farm is now owned by the Vance Partridge heirs. It was north and on the west side of the road and joined his father's farm.
William married and lived on his farm across the road from John. It was sold to Elton Krammer.
Eldrege married and lived on his farm joining the east side of William's farm.
Claud never married and lived on his farm across the road from his father's farm. After his death his farm became known as the Kimmel farm.
Francis Dale lived at home on his father's farm and married Phebe Jane Ball. Phebe was the daughter of William and Sarah Ball. Francis and Phebe lived their entire life on their farm. Phebe Jane died at her home on the farm. Francis (Frank) died at his son Clyde's home.
