Hazel Alphia Henderson, 61, of Rt. 1, McCredie, died February 16, 1954 at Callaway Hospital. Dr. A.H. Domann of Auxvasse pronounced death by Circulatory Collapse due to Strangulated Hernia. Informant was James Henderson of McCredie.
Hazel was born January 19, 1893, in Miles. Iowa, the daughter of Robert C. and Ida Mae (Small) Crawford. She married John Henderson who survives of the home. Hazel was a housewife.
Arrangements were under the direction of Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in the McCredie Cemetary.

Funeral services will be held for Mrs.Hazel Alphia Henderson, 61, of Rt. 1, McCredie, Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the McCredie Methodist Church. Mrs. Henderson died Tuesday morning at 11:30 o'clock at Callaway Hospital, where she was admited Monday.
The Reverand J.D. Randolph of Rocheport will officiate and burial will be in the McCredie Cemetary.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Miles, Iowa, on January 19, 1893, the daughter of the late Robert G. and Ida (Small) Crawford. She moved to Missouri with her parents in 1903. On December 1, 1917, she was united in marriage to John L. Henderson. He survives.
Other survivors are, one daughter, rs. Virginia Stone of El Paso, Texas, three sons, John L. Henderson of Colubia, Robert J. Henderson of Warrington and Jaes G. Henderson of McCredie and eight grandchildren.
One child, Shirley Ann, died in infancy.
