Genevieve Valentine "Jenny" Kline, of Red Coach Manor, Oil City, died at 12:40 pm Thursday, October 4, 2007 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.
Born February 14, 1916 in Mercer, she was a daughter of Harvey and Stella Shaw Hawke.
Mrs. Kline was a cosmetologist for 47 years, working first in the IOOF building and from 1965 to 1997 in her home.
She was a life long member of the Oil City Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Kline was a member of the Eastern Star, PNA, Eagles, Pulaski and VFW.
She enjoyed traveling, bowling and socializing.
She was married to Leon Kline who preceded her in death.
Surviving are 4 children, Donna Bromley of Oil City, Robert Kline and wife Kathy and James Kline and wife Rachael, all of California, and Sandra Siegel of Clarion; 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Oil City Church of the Nazarene, 601 E Second St, Oil City at 11 am Monday with the Rev. William Hopkins, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry.
