Beloved husband of Margaret M. (Fowler) Vaughn 1914-2001. Leo passed away in 1998 at the age of 82.

Leo B. Vaughn, 82, of Tekamah, died May 2, 1998 at the Tekamah Nursing Center.

Military funeral services were May 5 at First Baptist Church in Tekamah with Pastor Steve Eggum officiating. Jeff Robinson and Juli Morrow furnished the music.
Pallbearers were nephews Don Fink of Fremont, Bernard Comstock, Dennis Penry, Lonnie Penry, Randy Penry and Elmer Schmidt, all of Blair.

Leo Bernard Vaughn was born March 5, 1916, to Jasper and Rose (Colgan) Vaughn at Herman.

He was united in marriage to Lola May Vinderslev and the couple had three children.

He farmed for many years in Washington County and was later employed at Kelly Ryan Equipment Co. He served in the US Army in World War II.

After Mrs. Vaughn’s death, he married Margaret LaScala.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Bonnie Ricker of Livermore, Iowa, and Annette Peterson of Tekamah; six grandchildren, a brother, Floyd Vaughn, and sister, Patricia Comstock, both of Blair.

Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Diane; a grandson, Jeff Ricker; two sisters, Erma Kruse and Ethel Frye; and a step-daughter, Sandra Osmera.
