South Orneville, Mrs. Amy Moulton passed away April 11th at the home of her son, Charles where she had lived since the death of her daughter, Mrs. Ina Paine, some years ago. Her age was 78. She was a loving mother and greatly devoted to her children, five of whom are living, Edwin of Brewer, George of Atkinson, Charles, Mrs. Dora Ellis and Mrs. Nancy Morton of this town. A brother, Simon Thompson of Lagrange also survives her. Mrs. Moulton was born in Corinna and after her marriage to Orrin Moulton, lived in Atkinson and Orneville. Funeral services were held at the schoolhouse near the home, conducted by Rev. E. F. McPheters of Bradford. The singing was by Mr. and Mrs. William F. Humphrey of Bradford. Many beautiful flowers were sent by relatives and friends. There bearers were the three sons and grandson, Everett Ellis.[Piscataquis Obsever, April 30, 1914]
