Mrs. Anna Belle Frazier, 55, died Wednesday, January 17 at 1 a.m. in Outer Drive Hospital at Lincoln Park, MI, after an illness of eight months. Born in Newcom, KY on April 7, 1912, she was the daughter of William and Jemima Fraley Pennington. A former resident of Staffordsville, she had been a resident of River View, Mi, for the past twelve years.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Frazier, eight sons, Henry and Silas of Rockwood, MI, Jessie of Dexter, MI, Paul of Taylor, MI, Willis of Detroit, MI, Paris of South Gate, MI, Wayne of River View, MI and David serving with the U. S. Army, one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Glenn of Franklin, OH; 25 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Jessie Pennington of Ashland, Wayne Pennington of Ballville, WV, Glen Pennington of Winchester and Edgar Pennington of Webbville; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Gallion of Webbville.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with Leonard Webb and Alfred Frazier, Jr., officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
