Mrs. Arthur Ferge, 79, of 7 W. Rockwell St., Elkhorn, died at Lakeland hospital Sunday morning following a brief illness.
The former Rispah M. Wales was born May 20, 1892 in Janesville, the daughter of Walter and Frances Montgomery Wales. She was married to Arthur Ferge June 2, 1928, in Woodstock, Ill.
She was educated in the Elkhorn school system, was a 50 year member of Bethel Chapter, No. 111, Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the Kaklar club from its inception until it was disbanded several years ago.
Survivors are her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Ray Kinney, Lake Geneva.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. John S. Bigler officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets.
Eastern Star services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Derksen Funeral Home. However, there was no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church.
